We are located in Piazzo, a small hamlet in the municipality of Lauriano (near Turin). The area is hilly, with wide natural spaces and quiet. Nearby there are numerous restaurants, trattorias, taverns, pizzerias and bars that you can reach in a few minutes by car to enjoy typical dishes for your lunches and dinners. Less than 5 km away there are two pharmacies, a bakery, grocery shops, tobacconists and a post office. At 15 minutes by car you will find the city of Chivasso with all the comforts and amenities, including many restaurants, cinemas, theatres, nightclubs and shopping streets, while at 30 km there is the wonderful Turin, Piedmont's capital with its many tourist, gastronomic and cultural activities. Moreover, from our B&B it is possible to reach wonderful places in the Monferrato, Langhe and Alps areas. Our B&B, Cascina Colombaro, is located in Piazzo (Lauriano, Turin). It is a historic farmhouse surrounded by greenery, wheat fields, wild hills and woods full of biodiversity. We decided to transform the old farmhouse into a sustainable oasis thanks to photovoltaic panels, water and energy saving, a synergistic garden and the reuse of materials, which we combine with respect for the environment around us. The rooms are furnished in a 'travel' theme with a prevalence of sustainable and 0-impact products. You can stay in the warm African savannah, where you will find handicrafts that we brought back from our travels to the continent of giraffes and acacias. If, on the other hand, you prefer Asia and the Zen lifestyle, we invite you to choose the Japanese room, where you will be immersed in a relaxing and spiritual atmosphere that will bring you back to a flowering oriental cherry tree. To stay in the Italian theme, or rather, Piedmont...we have furnished an entire room for you with wood recovered from felled trees and sustainable and zero-waste craftsmanship to let you experience the thrill of living in a chalet in a Piedmontese hazelnut grove.
